Dangote refinery on Tuesday said that the country would not witness petrol shortage despite an ongoing strike by a union representing fuel tanker drivers. The strike, which began Monday and has since drawn support from other unions in Nigeria and abroad, comes as the refinery, the largest in Africa, is hiring its own drivers to deliver gasoline to retailers. 63 people, including five soldiers, have lost their lives in renewed Boko Haram attack on Darajamal, a community in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State. Recall that similar attacks occurred in the community some months back and the resident were only recenly resettled.
